Buying a basket case bike and piecing it together was the only way I could afford the motorcycle I wanted. And that was my first garage project over 30 years ago - a wrecked 1972 Sportster.
There is a tremendous satisfaction that comes from bringing a project vehicle back to life, and when accomplished, easily outweighs the bother and frustration.
